10 Meetups On Robot Vacuum Deals You Should Attend

Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

If you've always wanted to get a robot vacuum, now's your chance. CNET's top-rated models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday and can save you up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that has smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its running time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also self-empties itself and automatically refills its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba J7+, IRobot's most advanced robot to date is the Roomba J7+. Its biggest breakthrough is its camera-based obstacle detection system that makes use of built-in AI to detect objects such as charging cords, shoes, and the pet waste that many other robots are unable to avoid (and often plough right through). It's also the first to automatically send you a picture of the object it comes across so that you can tell it to avoid it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop that we have ever tested. It removes dirt and spills effortlessly leaving no trace it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. You can schedule cleanings, and also create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't clean in areas you don’t wish to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it with a voice.

Its design is also a step above the competition, with a sleek top piece that appears more like a toy robot rather than a loud, loud one. And the Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System automatically empty, which is great to reduce the time spent cleaning.

In our tests, we found that the j7+ swiftly eliminated dirt, dust and pet hair. Its counter-rotating rubber brush rolls kept the debris in one location instead of scattering it all over the floor. It was able to capture small pieces of gravel, sand, and even a tiny bit of grit. Most robots could not accomplish this feat. And all this without getting caught in our pet's shedding hair.

The j7+, though not as smart as the $1,217 Roomba S9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum from iRobot and can't clean the stairs, is still an option for those who need both mopping and a vacuum. It's not too expensive and the iRobot App makes it simple to use.

While the iRobot Home app is very user-friendly however, we've found it to be less reliable than other apps that utilize robotic cleaners. It can take some time to download updates, and it's sometimes difficult to determine if they are functioning until you actually witness them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

When you're looking for a vacuum that does more than just clean floors, your best option is probably a hybrid. This category of bots typically comes with a built-in tank for water that allows them to vacuum and mop your home simultaneously. They also come with many additional features such as smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. The disadvantage is that they can be expensive at retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.

Roborock has some of our  top robot vacuum s, and the Q5+ is no exception. It's their cheapest auto-empty model, and while it's not equipped with some of the features you'll find on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great choice if you're willing to sacrifice a bit to save a few hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is noticeably gentle around obstacles like wall legs and table legs and walls, which makes it a good choice for homes with lots of furniture. It is also very thorough in cleaning dust bunnies. This is a place where most robot vacuums of lower quality aren't able to meet. The Q5+'s navigation is superb, with only a few mishaps on walls and corners.

The Q5+, as with other Roborock products can be controlled with only a few buttons on your device or through the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleanings, set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones, and modify your home map or change the labeling of rooms.

If you select the Q5+ model, it comes with a brand new auto-emptying dock that's designed to make the robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver to install, but once it's installed, the process of emptying the bin is relatively easy. It also features a large LCD display that is great to have when setting up schedules or adjusting settings. This isn't an essential feature for everyone, but it's one that can assist you in keeping track of your robot's maintenance intervals effortlessly.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's incredibly smart in both its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design is one of the most innovative in the market however, it's costly.

It's a small base station that looks great and can be hidden when not in use. But the station's biggest selling factor is its ability to automate many tasks and functions that most other robots leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do), empties the dustbin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot fully charged and clean.

Its vacuuming is also impressive. It's the few robovacs I've tested that do an excellent job of collecting debris from plain floors, and is not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.

The Freo X Ultra is not free of faults, especially when it comes navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs, meaning it can get stuck or confused in certain areas of the home. It can't navigate stairs as well as some competitors, either and it doesn't have a dock that lets you to set up an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for carpets with plush padding.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great option for those looking for a vacuum robot that can do it all.

If  robotic vacuum cleaner sale  looking for a way to save money or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are plenty of other options available. A lot of eufy models are substantially less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for example is less expensive and offers a similar in-app experience with additional features such as stair climbing, a full-function dock, and a better overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high and low-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

eufy, an Anker company is a long-standing leader of producing robot vacuums that strike the right balance between performance, features and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning of carpets and hard flooring, and mopping functions at an affordable price. It's simple to set up, simply connect one of the side brush, turn it on and connect your charging dock. The app takes you through several steps to connect it to your Wi-Fi and then the G30 is ready to go. The dock will need to be located close to an outlet that has plenty of space to move.

The G30 is a small device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, so it can be placed under most couches and low-clearance pieces furniture. Its design is less ostentatious compared to some rival models. It is sleek with a black finish and three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs an area in a spiral fashion over two minutes) Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.

The main characteristic that distinguishes the G30 apart from most competitors is the method it cleans. It makes use of an integrated map to make an image of the immovable items in its path. It keeps track of the things it has cleaned and what it is unable to access. If it requires a recharge, it automatically returns to its base, and then resumes cleaning where it started.

The sleek G30 has a few issues. The iRobot Roomba 675 is much better built, incurs lower recurring expenses, charges faster and has a similar battery life. It also offers better performance on bare floors and carpets with low pile. It also has a bigger dust bin that doesn't have to be emptied as often and comes with the boundaries to restrict it from certain areas. The G30 on the other hand, is more affordable and a lot simpler to maintain. Its smaller dust canister does not require emptying as often and it has less trouble with heavy materials such as cereal.
